COVID-19 Information

Dear Dermatology and Med Spa Patients,

As COVID-19 continues to impact our community we want to reach out to reassure you the steps we are implementing within our clinics to help our patients, employees, and community stay safe and healthy. The health and safety of our patients and employees is, as always, our top priority.

We also want you to know, as of now we will continue to be open and will offer same day or next day service for those who are in need of a dermatologist. We are still, continuing to take on new patients as well.

As we continue business we are following the practices based on guidance provided by the CDC, WHO, and local public health agencies to prevent the spread of the virus. We will continue to make adaptations as the COVID-19 situation evolves.

• Our offices are cleaned and sanitized daily as part of our normal course of business. Over the past weeks, we’ve increased the frequency and extent of these cleanings. Our waiting rooms are sanitized hourly and our patient rooms, after every patient, are cleaned, sanitized and prepped for the next patient.

• We are requiring all patients to use hand sanitizer when they check in, as well as offering masks to those who feel more comfortable using one.

• Employees are using frequent, proper hand washing techniques.

• Employees showing any signs of illness are instructed not to report to work and will be excused.

If you want to call ahead of your appointment upon arrival, you can wait in your car and we can text you or call you when the doctor is ready to see you so you don’t need to wait in the office waiting area. In addition, we have spaced out our patient’s appointment times to avoid waiting times in the lobby area.

As another sign that we are committed to your care we are diligently working on to acquire within the next 1-2 weeks a teledermatology computer platform to allow us to see and to take care of patients from home. We will let you know when this arrives.

Most importantly, if you are experiencing the symptoms of a cold or the flu, if you think you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or if you have traveled to a high risk area in the last two weeks, we ask that you please call and reschedule your appointment.

Again, our top priority is the welfare and safety of our staff and our patients. We are still committed to being here for you and to provide quick, safe and reliable care, especially during this unprecedented time.

If you have any other questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call 801-704-7001.
